What format are recordings saved in?
Recordings are saved as WebM files with VP9 video and Opus audio codecs. WebM is widely supported and provides excellent quality at small file sizes.
Can I record system audio?
System audio capture is available when recording a browser tab in Chrome or Edge. For other capture modes, you can record your microphone audio.
Is there a recording time limit?
No, there are no time limits. You can record for as long as you need. Recording length is only limited by your device's available memory.
Which browsers are supported?
JustRecordScreen works best in Chrome and Edge which support all features including system audio. Firefox works for basic recording. Safari has limited support. Screen recording is not available on iOS devices.
